Compare: Conventional coaching versus Modern Tennis coachingConventional coaching focuses beginner players on choreographed footwork and the perfect swing pattern for power instead of what is important for the player at this stage. That being; TTF. Some people say that ‘there aren’t any secrets to tennis’. Oh but there is. Any player who masters TTF will achieve tennis success. They will be free to focus on tennis tactics and develop natural footwork without worrying about having the ‘perfect, cosmetic technique. Some players master TTF through natural ability but many players need that grounding first if they are to advance. What tends to happen is that many players do NOT receive the direction that they need and as result turn their back on this wonderful sport through sheer frustration and boredom. This is why the sport is losing players worldwide! Once players have mastered TTF on their shots, they are free to develop their own natural shape to create power. TTF is the foundation that leads to powerful tennis shots eventually. If these foundations are not rock solid then the whole building collapses.
