It should be noted that Modern Tennis International Limited is regularly abbreviated to MTI throughout these Terms, Conditions and Policies.
By accessing any part of the MTI website you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, do not make any use of the site and leave it immediately.
- Website - This website is owned and operated by Modern Tennis International Limited whose address is Chase Green House, 42 Chase Side, Enfield, Middlesex. EN2 6NF. The purpose of this website is to provide you with information and services about MTI, its projects and tennis. We don't charge you anything to use this website, so it should simply cost what you normally pay to access the internet.
- Privacy Policy – These statements aim to explain how MTI may use your personal information submitted by you either by means of the MTI website or through another method.
- Processing Your Personal Information - If you choose to give us personal information, such as your name, age and contact details; for example when you book a course; purchase from our shop; sign up for an e-Newsletter, or another related service; then this will be held and processed by MTI in accordance with the eight principals of the Data Protection Act 1998. MTI may need to transfer your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors who will use it only to improve our service to you and in accordance with our instructions.
- Providing Your Personal Information - In various areas of this website we ask you for information. When you place an order with us we need your contact details so we can confirm your order and send you your goods. We ask for your age to ensure you are the right age for a Junior course or competition.
- Security - We do not take or hold any of your payment information as that is dealt with for us by our partner on their own secure website. Your password is encrypted before it is sent to us and your personal information is contained on a secure password protected server.
- Consent to use Your Personal Information – By submitting your personal information to us, you signify your consent to our using the information provided in the manner described above. If we amend our privacy policy, it will be published on this web site. If at any time you wish to update the information which we hold about you, or if you wish to stop receiving information from MTI, please email us at team@playmoderntennis.com.
- Placing an order - The information displayed on this website represents an opportunity for you to assess the goods and services of Modern Tennis International. We can only accept orders from persons aged 18 years or older. If you wish to book an junior course or event, a parent/guardian must book and pay for you.
- Cancellation Policy - If you wish to cancel your order of clothing or equipment, you must do so by emailing us at team@playmoderntennis.com. If your order has already been despatched you are liable for the delivery charge however we will provide a full refund if you return the goods in the same condition as you received them in within 14 days of receipt. If you wish to cancel your place on a MTI course or tournament you may do so without penalty up to 7 days before the event date. If however you do not give us 7 days notice, your payment will not be reimbursed unless we can replace you on the event. We will do our best to find someone to take your place and provide you with a full refund. If MTI has to cancel a course or tournament, we will provide a full refund.
- Returns Policy - If you have received your goods and you have ordered the wrong size or changed your mind and wish to return your goods, we will provide a full refund - less postage costs, if you return the goods in the same condition as you received them in within 14 days of receipt. If you are not happy with the quality of your goods, you may return them. Provided you return the goods in the same condition as you received them in within 14 days of receipt you will receive a full refund including postage costs for delivery to you and for returning them to us. The decision regarding the condition of the goods despatched by us and received back is at the discretion of MTI and our decision is final.
- Delivery - We will endeavour to despatch your order within 48 hours of receipt. If you have any queries regarding your order please contact us at team@playmoderntennis.com.
- Affiliates - You are only a member of the Affiliation Programme if MTI has invited you to join and you have accepted our terms and conditions as outlined in writing to you. The Affiliation Reward is only for sales of the ‘Tennis in Minutes – Beginner to Improver DVD Set’ that have come via the unique URL we will provide you with, and not for any subsequent orders these customers make with MTI. Customer information is not passed on to Affiliates. If a customer cancels or returns their DVD order we will not pay you the Affiliation Reward. Affiliates are paid a percentage of the profit from every DVD sale made, as detailed previously, on a quarterly basis. Details of your commission payment will be included in your written agreement. When recommending our ‘Tennis in Minutes – Beginner to Improver DVD Set’ you will ensure that the information you give out is accurate and not misleading. MTI cannot be held responsible for any misunderstandings our customers may have, based on your recommendation. Misrepresentation of MTI will result in the Affiliation agreement being cancelled with immediate effect with no further commission payable. If we wish to cancel our Affiliation agreement with you, we will notify in writing – either by email or letter. Should you wish to cancel our Affiliation agreement you must notify us in writing via email or letter (see ‘contact us’ page for details).
- Copyright - Warning: MTI has trademark and copyright protection which includes any material produced by MTI – for example and not exclusive to, DVDs, eBooks, Audio CDs, Course material etc. MTI has licensed all material produced for private home use only. Unless otherwise expressly licensed by MTI, all other rights are reserved. Any unauthorised copying, editing, renting, lending, public performance, diffusion and/or broadcast of DVDs produced by MTI, or any part thereof, is strictly prohibited. MTI DVDs are not to be exported, re-supplied or distributed without proper licence from Modern Tennis International Limited. Orders of any DVD, written or audio products are limited to 3 per household.
- Use of Content - You may read, view, print, download contents for private and personal non-commercial use only provided that all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials on any copy of these materials is retained. You may not recopy or further distribute, sell, publish or transmit any part of the material by any means. The Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without MTI’s prior written consent. You may not use the Site or its content to remove the copyright or trade mark notice(s) from any copies of any content made in accordance with these terms; to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Site; or in any way that might bring MTI, it’s affiliated organisations or the game of tennis into disrepute.
- Use of Messages and Materials - By submitting information or photos of any kind to MTI, you are granting MTI a perpetual royalty free non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, translate, make available, distribute and sub-license the message/suggestion in whole or in part and in any form anywhere in the world. MTI has the unrestricted right to post any of these items on the site or remove them without justification or notice.
- Liability - The Content or any promotional material produced by MTI does not constitute any form of advice, recommendation or arrangement by MTI. The links provided to other websites are not endorsements nor does MTI take responsibility for the availability or content of these sites and will not be a party to, or in any way responsible for, any transaction concerning goods or services available from such sites. If you decide to use these links to access these sites you do so at your own risk.
- Changes - MTI reserves the right to make changes to any part of the Site including these Terms, Conditions and policies. You agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions which apply at the time of your use of the site.
- Full Money Back Guarantee - Where the product you are purchasing offers a full money back guarantee, it is for the purchase price of the product. The packaging and contents must be returned in the condition you received them in, within 30 days of purchase. We will refund you the full purchase price, minus shipping and handling costs, when we are happy that the condition of the product is perfect. You can return it to us at our address found on our Contact Us page with a copy of your purchase order confirmation email.
- Free products - When you place an order for a free product on this website, you are agreeing to the terms, conditions and policies of this website as outlined on this page. Please also note that free products are limited to one per household.
- Competition entries - When you enter a competition on this website, you are agreeing to the terms, conditions and policies of this website as outlined on this page.

Terms, Conditions and Policies
It is important to note that :-
- Modern Tennis International have an agreement with TennisPlanet UK, to sell a selection of their products online – often at exclusive, discounted prices.
- TennisPlanet UK only deliver to mainland UK - not the Channel Island,Northern Ireland or any of the Scottish Isles
- By ordering any items from the TennisPlanet section in our online shop at www.playmoderntennis.com you are agreeing to the TennisPlanet terms and conditions below and have noted that TennisPlanet take full responsibility for managing and delivering your order and exchanges or returns
- Modern Tennis International are unable to assist you with orders or returns for TennisPlanet goods, however if you feel that TennisPlanet have not fulfilled their agreement to you, please do let us know.
TennisPlanet Terms and conditions
Prices -
Prices to consumers include VAT at the appropriate rate. Carriage will be charged at the calculated rate described at time of order placement.
Defective Goods - If any item that TennisPlanet supply is faulty due to a manufacturing defect we will provide you with a refund, replacement or repair the item. Please ensure that you inform us via e mail (info.uk@tennisplanet.com) of any damage to goods at the time of receiving them to avoid any possible delays in receiving a replacement/refund.
Exchanges -
Should you wish to return a non-faulty product for an exchange, the following applies: A refund will be given (minus postage and return costs) upon receipt of the goods. TennisPlanet will, however, refund the postage back to you if TennisPlanet have made an error, e.g. sent out the incorrect size .You must take reasonable care of the goods and we will deem that you have not taken reasonable care of the goods if you have used them to an extent beyond that would be reasonable in checking the goods before purchase. The goods must be returned to us within 10 days, with the original packaging.
Returns-
You can return the ordered goods within 10 days after receipt on condition that you return the goods undamaged, well packed in their original packaging and with a copy of the invoice. Please follow the procedure below:
- Contact our customer service by phone: 0870 116 9816 or info.uk@tennisplanet.com and request a RA number (Return Authorization)
- Customer service will analyze the return reason, judge whether a return shipment is justified and, if it is, send a UPS return label by email
- This UPS label contains all instructions:
- Just attach the label to the parcel and
- Contact UPS (phone number is indicated on the label) for pickup at any daytime address
- Any returns without RA number will be rejected by TennisPlanet.
To make sure the procedure for the RA number request can be handled problem free please have following information at hand:
- Invoice number (without the invoice number requests for an RA number can not be processed)
- Pick-up address
- Email address
- After receipt of your returned goods, you will receive the amount of the returned articles minus the cost of the return. The return service costs for consumers are £6.50 for and £ 10.50 for our business partners such as VIPs, Professional Partners and tennis clubs.
Unacceptable Returns -
If you return an item to us outside of the terms of our returns policy and your statutory rights do not apply, we may take the decision not to refund you. The item may be returned to you at your expense and you will be notified of this and any other charges incurred. If you choose to send the item back to us again, or refuse to accept delivery, this will be deemed as an irreversible instruction for us to dispose of your goods without further notice. This will not constitute any admission that TennisPlanet failed to honour in full its obligations to you and will not constitute any unlawful action against the good.
Handling Cost -
For very small orders under £20.00, you pay a supplement of £4.99 for handling. You pay no handling costs when your order exceeds £20.00.
Shipping Costs -
The standard delivery time for in stock orders are 24/72 hours from order placement with shipping cost calculated by weight. PLEASE NOTE ALTHOUGH WE USE UPS WE CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY DURING A SPECIFIED TIME SLOT DURING THE DAY.

Please note: MTI will apply the appropriate delivery charge(s) to your order through their online shop.

Cancelling an order - Should you wish to cancel an order, in most cases you have the legal right to do this within 7 working days of receiving the order. If you wish to cancel, you must inform us via e mail at info.uk@tennisplanet.com within 7 working days following the day you received the goods. You must take care of the goods. TennisPlanet will deem that you have not taken reasonable care of the goods if you have used them to an extent beyond what would be reasonable in handling the goods in a retailer before purchase. If you cancel an order we will require that you return the goods to us in appropriate time, with the original packaging and at your own expense, to the required address.
